Year End Trip - New York City

You are required to arrive at Enterprise Aviation, at the Oshawa Airport on Friday 18 May, no later than 0800h, having eaten breakfast already. The bus will not be waiting for late cadets. It is anticipated that we will arrive back at Enterprise at about 1800-1900h on Monday 21 May. Parents should be waiting at that time, so that staff members can also get home in good time.

It is anticipated that we will arrive back at Enterprise at about 1800-1900h on Monday 21 May. Parents should be waiting at that time, so that staff members can also get home in good time. I will call a parent (arranged prior to departure) regarding our arrival time once we cross the border into Canada.

In case of emergency only, parents can reach the Squadron by calling or texting 905 449 5267. This is NOT the Squadron cell phone and is only valid until the return from the trip. This cell will be on at all times. Please do not call for trivial items as it is a personal cell , and bear in mind that messages of death or illness in the family will serve only to make the cadet depressed at the expense of all others on the tour. Such messages should wait until our return, as there is nothing that the cadet or staff can do for this.

  • I look forward to seeing all participating cadets on this tour!

    MTC Security Update

For security reasons, during activities other than regular training on Thursdays, the access door to MTC will be locked approximately 30 minutes (1/2 hour) after the start of the activity and will be reopened 30 minutes before dismissal.

If cadets are going to be late or need to be picked up early from an optional activity they need to advise the Officer in Charge so that arrangements to access the building are made accordingly.

If there are questions or concerns please contact the CO

    Admin and Supply Office Hours

If you require uniform from supply or to speak with a member of our Admin team please have your team commander get you to the appropriate office during the parade night. After closing parade is not the time to approach staff for exchanges or requests when they have or are in the process of locking up for the night.

Parents if you are looking to speak with a member of our team please come a little early for closing parade and we would be happy to assist.

Both Admin and Supply are typically also open on Wed nights from 19:00 to 21:00 at MTC when activities are scheduled.

    Non Cadets at MTC

During the first few weeks while we have been at MTC it has been observed that some non cadets are wondering to areas that are not open to us. While we pass through the cafeteria area we are not to linger in that area and definitely not to partake in the food and drinks that are out for sale to MTC employees. Parents and siblings that are waiting for cadets must remain in our section of the building that cadets are in or remain outside of the building.

Parents that are arriving to pick up cadets should not plan on arriving prior to 21:00 (9pm) for closing parade announcements.

As we approach the winter season, please use the sidewalks at MTC and not cut across the grass.
