Summer Camp Information
Listed below is useful information to help cadets and parents prepare for summer camp. Stay tuned as this website is updated weekly with new information regarding additonal cadets selected and travel information. Please direct any questions to LT. Cadets Selected for Camp (Updated July 23,2010) - this report contains a list of cadets that have been selected for a summer camp.
Waiting List Cadets
If you are not yet loaded on a course, you are likely to get a last minute call on the Monday the course starts, and leave shortly after (although you may be given a spot earlier if any open up). If you are not sure if you're on a course yet, e-mail CI Don Biffin donbiffin@2vandenbos.org Be Prepared, pack a bag based on the kit list below.Kit List - a list of what to take to summer camp, look for the summer camp location and only pack what is mentioned, please exclude the blue turtleneck sweater and parka.
Joining Instructions - all you need to know about summer camp, plus location specific details (e.g. Graduation Dates, Visiting Times, Driving Driections). These can be found in the appendix at the back of the document.
Summer Location Links - use the links to access the camp your son or daughter has been selected for. Under each camp location, ( e.g. Trenton), the joining instructions document will provide the key information you require about the camp.
Travel Dates/Times and Location (Updated July 23, 2010)
Each cadet will be notified by CI Don Biffin prior to departure for summer camp. This website will be updated weekly.
Travel information by Course and Date - a list by course and date of when and where each cadets departs for summer camp. This will be updated for the next intake of cadets 2-3 weeks prior to departure.
Cadet Transportation Form - required to board the bus at your point of departure
Departure Location The meeting spot for the above departure dates is the back parking lot at the Oshawa Civic Auditorium. You must be there in summer dress (uniform without tunic or tie), please remove your rank slip ons and name tag. You must have your health card and completed cadet transportation form with you.

End of the 2009/2010 Training Year - Now that we've officially ended the training year, the summer course season begins. The 2010-2011 training year starts Thursday September 9, 2010.
