One of the primary aims of the Air Cadet Program is to develop good citizens. The Squadron does that in part by involving its Air Cadets in the support of the community. Here are some of the ways the Squadron does that:
Cleans an ADOPTED ROAD, Country Lane and Garden Street, each Spring & Fall.
Assists the Rotary Club of Whitby clean its Adopted Road.
Assists the Whitby Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion with its annual POPPY CAMPAIGN and its Remembrance Day Dinner.
Band Visits to local Seniors Homes.
Assists regularly at various Charity Events.
It is to be noted that Air Cadets earn High School graduation Community Service credits for participating in these community supporting events.
