Join Air Cadets
Our Next recruit Course will start on Thursday January 6 2011, with a Parent/Cadet information night. Location is the Michael VandenBos Public School, 3121 Country Lane, Whitby. Entrance off the north parking lot.

The Air Cadet Program
Cadets form a national organization whose purpose is to develop in youth the attributes of leadership, engaged and active citizenship and physical fitness, all within a safe environment that stimulates an interest in the Canadian Forces.
Local Training
Air Cadet Training is divided into five proficiency levels, including on-the-job training for senior cadets. Some of the courses offered to Air Cadets at the local level are:

Summer Training
The thrill of gliding and flying provides the backbone of the Air Cadet program. Each year nearly 600 deserving Air Cadets receive flying and gliding scholarships. The remainder learn valuable life skills and important values like mutual respect, integrity and professionalism through lessons in navigation, theories of flight and aircrew survival.
Over 9000 Air Cadets take part in summer training. Some of the courses offered:

Visit Us
The 2 VandenBos Squadron meets weekly throughout the training year. Come see us any Thursday night at Capt Michael VandenBos School or the Enterprise Air Hangar. Check our Calendar first to determine our location. Please ask for the Training or Commanding Officer.
